System Requirements

Software Requirements
- Microsoft SAPI 5.1 or SAPI 6.*
- Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 SP 3+, or
- Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 SP 5+, or,
- Microsoft Visual Basic .NET, or
- Microsoft Visual C++ .NET, or
- Microsoft Visual C# .NET, or
- Any language that supports Automation

Hardware Requirements
- A Pentium III or later processor at 500MHz
with 256 MB is preferred.
Disk Space Requirements
- 50 MB of free disk space, not including SAPI
5.
SAPI Disk Space Requirements
- SAPI 5.1 or 6.* must be installed on the target
system.
Installing SpeechStudio Suite
Make sure your system satisfies the preceding requirements. If you are using
Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, make sure you have administrator
access.
Open the .msi file and follow the instructions on the screen. If you have a
SpeechStudio CD, you will find the .msi file on the CD. If you have the CD, you
can also run the program Setup.Exe.
You will need a license key or an evaluation key to install the product.
SpeechStudio Suite is installed in the Program Files folder in the SpeechStudio
folder. The installation also adds entries to your Start menu for SpeechStudio
programs. Documentation is available from the Start menu under Start | Programs
| SpeechStudio.
Uninstalling SpeechStudio Suite
To uninstall a SpeechStudio product, use the Add/Remove Programs utility
accessed through Start | Settings | Control Panel and choose the product from
the displayed list.
