Microsoft Windows ® NT Workstation 4.0,service pack 6a
Microsoft Windows 98 (Windows 95 is not supported).
Software Requirements
Microsoft Office XP or Word 2002 with Speech Recognition installed.
Hardware Requirements
A Pentium II or later processor at 233 MHz with 128 MB is recommended.
Disk Space Requirements
2 MB of free disk space, not including Office XP.
Installing SpeechStudio Lexicon Lite
Make sure your system satisfies the preceding requirements. If you are using
Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP, make sure you have administrator access.
Insert the SpeechStudio Lexicon Lite in your CD-ROM drive to start the
installation program. If the installation program does not start automatically:
- Click Start in the Windows taskbar.
- Click Run.
- Type D:\setup where D is your CD-ROM drive.
The installation program will install Windows Installer if necessary and then
start the SpeechStudio Setup Wizard. The wizard will prompt you through a series
of dialogs.
SpeechStudio Lite is installed in the Program Files folder
in a new SpeechStudio folder. The installation also adds entries to
your Start menu for SpeechStudio Lexicon Lite.
Uninstalling SpeechStudio Lexicon Lite
To uninstall the SpeechStudio product suite, use the Add/Remove Programs
utility accessed through Start | Settings | Control Panel.
From the list of programs, select SpeechStudio Lexicon Lite.
