Microsoft Windows 98 (Windows 95 is not supported).
Software Requirements
Microsoft Office XP or Word 2002 with speech installed.
Hardware Requirements
Pentium II 400-MHz or higher processor
Disk Space Requirements
20 MB of free disk space.
Installing SpeechStudio Profile Manager
Make sure your system satisfies the preceding requirements. If you are using
Windows NT, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, make sure you have administrator
access.
Insert the SpeechStudio Profile Manager CD in your CD-ROM drive to start the
installation program. If the installation program does not start automatically:
- Click Start in the Windows taskbar.
- Click Run.
- Type D:\setup where D is your CD-ROM drive.
The installation program will install Windows Installer if necessary and then
start the SpeechStudio Setup Wizard. The wizard will prompt you through a series
of dialogs.
SpeechStudio Profile Manager is installed in the Program Files folder
in a new SpeechStudio folder. The installation also adds entries to
your Start menu for SpeechStudio Profile Manager. Documentation is
available from the Start menu under Start | Programs | SpeechStudio
| Help.
Uninstalling SpeechStudio Profile Manager
To uninstall the Profile Manager, use the Add/Remove Programs
utility accessed through Start | Settings | Control Panel.
From the list of programs, select SpeechStudio Profile Manager.
