We're pleased to release the SpeechStudio Number Grammars.
The SpeechStudio Number Grammars are a collection of 40
SAPI 5 grammars that recognize a wide variety of spoken
numbers, including integers, ordinals, and real numbers.
The grammars are delivered as ActiveX controls that SAPI
loads automatically when referenced. The grammars work
with any SAPI 5 or SpeechStudio grammar, with Visual C++,
Visual Basic, or any other language that supports SAPI 5.
Once the grammar objects are installed, applications can
easily recognize a wide variety of spoken numbers. The
results are available as words and as strings of numbers.
For example, saying three hundred and one thousand fifty-
two returns both the string of words
three hundred and one thousand fifty-two
and the string of digits:
301052
