SpeechStudio Lexicon Control is an ActiveX
control that loads words and pronunciations into the user lexicon. The
control can be used with any application. It is designed to be
accessed from any language that supports COM automation, including Visual
Basic and Visual C++. It works with all versions of Windows that support
SAPI 5.
Lexicon Control can accept words and
pronunciations from any source as long as the pronunciations are described
as legal SAPI 5 phonemes. However, the control is designed to work
especially well with the output of SpeechStudio
Lexicon Builder.
The product includes an ActiveX control,
documentation, code examples in Visual Basic and Visual C++, and technical
support.
Lexicon Control is also part of
Lexicon
Developer.
Sample Programs
Two sample programs are included, one in Visual
Basic and the other in Visual C++. These sample programs load words into
the user lexicon. The Visual Basic program loads words from a file.
The C++ program loads words from memory.
