Phrase Manager
Phrase Manager is used to
manage collections of phrase libraries. A phrase library is a collection
of recorded phrases, like dog or I want to go to the store. Each
phrase in a phrase library is treated as a single element; each phrase is
recorded, played, and used as a unit.
Phrase libraries are also
organized by speaker. Each phrase in a phrase library can be spoken by
one or more speaker. Phrase Manager keeps track of who has said what, and has
options to prompt individual speakers in a recording session. These phrases can
be used as voice prompts or for testing speech applications.
Phrase Manager is used to
create and delete phrase libraries, add and remove speakers from phrase
libraries, update information about speakers, show the recording status of a
phrase, and play back recorded phrases.
Phrase Recorder is used to
record, play, and re-record phrases. Phrase Recorder is part of SpeechStudio
Suite. When Phrase Recorder is used with SpeechStudio Suite, many of the options
and features described in this manual are handled automatically by SpeechRunner
and Phrase Manager. When used with SpeechStudio Suite, Phrase Recorder is still
used to guide speakers through recording sessions.
